Charities For Human and Civil Rights

Thanks to the thousands of tireless organizations whose work is the endless task of protecting our human and civil rights around the world.

The concept of universal human rights is codified in the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights, written in the wake of the horrible abuses and suffering of World War II, and apply to all people. Civil rights pertain to those rights imparted to citizens of a specific country; for example, for American citizens by the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
